I always like to post Psalm 20:1-5 in May.
So I decided the first day of May would be a good time.
Notice how many times the word may is mentioned…
Psalm 20:1-5 NIV
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.
Lord God,
Thank you that we MAY come to you in prayer.
We are thankful for a new month and the hope of finding out what our MAY will bring us to in Christ Jesus.
We come to you in prayer on this first day of May, praying your Word from Psalms 20:1-5
Lord God May you answer us.
Lord God May you protect us.
Lord God May you send us help.
Lord God May you grant us support.
Lord God May you remember all of our sacrifices.
Lord God May you accept our offerings.
Lord God May you give us the desires of our hearts.
Lord God May you make all our plans succeed.
