And now just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust him, too, for each day’s problems; live in VITAL union with him. (Daily prayer ) Let your roots grow down into him and draw up nourishment from him. See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. (Read your Bible often) Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for ALL he has done (tell others about Him) …for in Christ there is all of God in a human body; so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ…

Prayer:
Dear God,
I want to be a Christian (a Christ follower). I ask today for your son Jesus Christ to take residence in my heart. I ask him to cleanse the sins in my heart and make my heart his home. Fill me with his Holy Spirit so that I may have his help, comfort, counsel and truth all the days of my life. I am thankful for your son Jesus and the sacrifice he made of his life on the cross for me to be free from sin and every day be in union with him through prayer and the Word. And ultimately get to be in heaven with you Father when I leave this world. I ask all of this in your holy precious name Jesus, amen!
