Workers who tend a fig tree are allowed to eat its fruit. In the same way, workers who protect their employer’s interests will be rewarded.
Many employees seem to grumble about their jobs everyday, wishing something better would come along. However instead of grumbling, if they would put their efforts into tending the job the have and protecting their employer’s interest they would eventually see the fruitful rewards where they are.
Are you thankful for your job? If you are grumbling, most likely you are not!
Try something new today –
Tend the job you have with joy and thankfulness and protect your employer’s interest (in other words, work like the company belongs to you) and when you do that, God promises that you will be rewarded!
Thank you God that we are better off working hard at the job we have instead of grumbling about it and wishing for something better! Thank you that you promise if we work hard and tend and protect the job we have that we will be rewarded at that very place!
