(Hebrews 10:25 – “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”)
There’s a reason God didn’t design faith to be a solo journey.
He knows our hearts get weary, our hope can fade, and our fire can dim when we’re walking alone.
That’s why His Word gently reminds us — “Don’t give up meeting together.”
There have been times in my life when I have needed the body of Christ to encourage me. Sometimes in sickness, heartache, and even in health. I can think of timely words coming through a phone call, a timely visit, a card in the mail, a book given to read or flowers at my doorsteps! Those are just a few of the things that have come my way through fellowshipping with other Christians! I am grateful they cared enough to care for me.
When life gets busy or heavy, it’s easy to pull back, to tell ourselves we’ll pray at home or catch up later. But there’s something sacred that happens when believers come together — whether it’s in a church setting, around a kitchen table, or at a small beauty-and-faith gathering where laughter and prayer mingle like perfume. ![]()
In those moments, God uses people to pour courage back into people.
• A friend’s smile reminds you you’re not forgotten.
• A prayer partner’s words lift your weary spirit.
• A sister’s testimony rekindles your faith flame.
Community doesn’t just build churches — it heals hearts. It’s where burdens are shared, joy multiplies, and Jesus shows up in the middle of ordinary moments.
So don’t stay isolated, friend.
Show up — not just for yourself, but for the one who might need your encouragement today. Together, we shine brighter. Together, we grow stronger. ![]()
Because when we gather in His name, He promises to meet us there. (Matthew 18:20)
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for making it possible to fellowship with you and have a restored relationship with God. Help us find a place in the body of Christ where we can belong and be encouraged and be an encouragement to others. Guide us to the people in our lives that need us and guide people to us that we need. Thank you for the freedom to meet together and share your Word and your wisdom together. We love you! Thank you for loving us! In Jesus Holy precious name we pray amen
